A touching heartwarming but ultimately heartbreaking tale about a simple man in a small Irish town & how his life changes in a few short weeks.
Josie is a simple man who looks after the local garage, a man who can’t do enough for you & always tries to see the good. This is often taken advantage of as he suffers the typical small-minded abuse from the townsfolk.
A young lad, David, comes to work with them & he starts to open up & shares a few jokes & tinnies with his mate.
But sadly rejection & an innocent mistake bring changes he cannot comprehend.
Pat Shortt is effortlessly charming in the role & you just know things will go awry but you pray they don’t.
Not one to cheer you up but an excellent film all the same.
